Sharing : My Self in Psychology Point of View

Dear Bloggie ..
  • I am an extroversion kind of person. I like to talk even to people I just known. I like to share many things with people. Because I’m such a social support person, I tend to be happy, optimistic, and healthy. I am also a conscientiousness kind of person. I like to work-hard and I organized things well. In other side, I also tend to be neuroticism kind of person. I become temperamental and I can’t control my emotion and worried about things.
  • I am a hard-driving, ambitious, highly competitive, and achievement oriented. I believe that I can over come obstacles, and push my self accordingly with enough effort. Even sometime I become so aggressive and egoist with my own needs. But after all, I can be a severe impairment borderline kind of person. I’m extremely sensitive to any hint of criticism, rejection, or abandonment by other. I am a zoophobia kind of person. I even can not shake it off; even it is no real danger.

  • I am a linguistic kind of person. I’m trilingual. I can speak Indonesian, English and Arabic. I am also having a sense of art. I love to sing and dance. My thinking style is divergent thinking. I like to have many reasons while I’m discussing about something. From general principles to the specific situation which also had known as deductive thought.
  • I’m having a Short Term Memory. Sometime happen a displacement in my brain that the new information will push out part of the old information. I really need help from someone who can remembered me while I'm almost instantly forget of those part of old information
  • I am a self confidence kind of person. I believe that I can be success when carry out an activity or when reaching my goal. Because self confidence effect motivation by influencing the challenges I undertake.
  • As a human being, I believe that everyone has their own negative side. And my own negative side is I can’t control my ego and anger. I often use my projection defense when losing an argument. I’m placing unacceptable impulses in my self onto someone else.
  • We haven’t realized that, we all use the principles of psychology everyday. When we get nervous right before we have to give that big speech, we are activating our autonomic nervous system. When we talk to our selves to “calm down”, “work hard”, or “give up”, we are utilizing cognitive approaches to change our behaviors and emotion. By learning psychology we will know ourselves and how to improve our life. By study psychology we will know how to describe and observe behaviors. And also psychology wants to improve a person’s life, not make it worst.
  • As I told before that I’m suffering a short term memory, by learning psychology now I can solve my problem. I’m trying to transferring information from the short term memory to long term memory by repeating the information silently to prolong its presence. So, by learning psychology, now I know how to improve memory.
  • I learnt about behavioral psychology that basically centralized in how our behavior results from the stimuli both in the environment and within ourselves. It’s helped me learn a great deal about our behaviors, the effect of our environment has on me, how I learn new behaviors, and what motivates me to change or remain the same.

Sharing : Red Eye

A patient comes to Optometry clinic with red eye problem. Red eye is a symptom of several eye problems caused by foreign objects such as an outbreak of conjunctivitis to serious illness such as iritic and acute glaucoma. The eyes look red when the blood vessels in the membrane lining the white eyes and it became swollen. This causes more blood to flow into the region concerned and make it red hot.
  • Caused
    • Any substance that enters the eye accidentally. Dust, dirt, hair points, fragments of iron, plastic or wood.
    • Usually caused by allergies, bacteria, viruses, or chemicals.
    • Usually caused by furs, cosmetics, materials or specific eye products.
    • And usually also caused by irritants in the air like smoke, material plants throwers, and chlorine.
  • Treatment
    • Try to remove the foreign materials using handkerchief or facial tissue.
    • Wash the eyes using clean water or eyes drop.
    • Go to the hospital or clinic immediately if the foreign material can not be removed.
    • Do not rub the eye because it will hurt or destroy the cornea.
    • Using eye medication ( such as drugs that can relieve the sense of ”oppressed” in the eyes due to abnormal accumulation of blood ) which can be purchased from the pharmacy store.

LONG DISTANCE RELATIONSHIP


I just passed my 5th Months Anniversary with my Boyfriend. We are doing our Long Distance Relationship now. I know that people always think that this relation will not be everlasting. But who knows..? I have many ideas to be sure that he or she 's the one for u during your long distance relationship wheter non-long distance relationship. Here what you guys gotta check :



1. That he/she has the same purpose with you, the same principal and belief, the same ideals on anything, the same perspective to avoid break-up(these stuff are main reasons for people to get break-up or divorce.)


2. That he/she loves you. Unconditionally. From the heart. Just the way you are and for who you are. If they say "you can see through my eyes", then just see it and you'll feel it when you meet the perfect "one"

3. That he/she listens to your heart, whether you're worried, happy, scared, excited, disappointed or sad and anything. They gotta hear you even when you don't say it with words. They'll know it through your eyes. They'll feel it too.

4. . That he/she is a good companion, great discussion mate, that you both have an advanced communication skill, coz in a long distance relationship, communication (and understanding) is "everything"

5. That he/she knows well how to make you laugh or stop your tears. This is important, cuz like it or not, there are shitty things happen in life and you gotta need him or her to solve those shitty problem.

6. That he/she respects you, your decision, and always supports you. And tells you when they think you're taking the wrong way. And still supports you, no matter what.

7. That he/she considers you're perfect, even when you have so many flaws, imperfection and weaknesses.

8. That he/she can make you COMFORT and complete your life with love.

Well, maybe this list is still gonna be added if I find something new about this topic. Or maybe you guys can help me adding up the list, especially for those who doing the long-dis relationship ;P
